The Planetarium can be booked to host any number of celebratory events be it a naming ceremony, a proposal of marriage, a renewal of vows or a memorial service (our wedding license is not currently valid). Catering for your celebration can also be handled by Tees Cuisine from the tea rooms at the park.

If you're looking for something a bit different and unusual, what could be more special than a celebration under the stars? Civil ceremonies are carried out by one of the Stockton Registrars and this is usually mixed in with a star show by the planetarium director and an illustration of appropriate constellations and zodiac signs on the dome. The ceremony can be tailored to meet your needs, with the facilities & sound system of the planetarium put at your disposal.
